Greatest Signal Variety in a 6 mm Width
Among the extensive product expansions to the Jumpflex® family, the 857-402 Universal Isolation Amplifier stands out particularly. With 450 factory-calibrated signal combinations, an input voltage range of +/- 200 V, and scalability across the entire measurement range, it sets a new standard in the "6 mm class." Furthermore, KTY and Ni measuring transducers, relay modules, supply and through modules, as well as optocouplers complete the product range.
Whether processing, sewage, or power technology or mechanical engineering and plant construction, the Jumpflex® 857-402 Universal Isolation Amplifier can be applied in many industries thanks to its freely-scalable measurement range. Possible input signals range from ± 0.3 to ± 100 mA and ± 60 to ± 200 V. Up to 456 signal combinations are calibrated at the factory and have constant precision values, even after an area switch. The zero span comparison takes place comfortably via a "teach-in" switch. Thus the isolation amplifier is scalable across the entire measurement range. Furthermore, the amplifier contains no potentiometer so there is no measurement range limitation by an end stop. The device can be used in vibrating applications since the module and its "teach-in" switch are vibration-proof. The universal isolation amplifier can be switched between limiting and analog behavior via "clipping" function. In this operating mode, the output signal is frozen at the minimum or maximum value even if the measurement range is exceeded. A reversible fuse effectively protects the input current range against overloading. With its properties, the universal isolation amplifier is the most flexible in its class.
The new 857-820 KTY and 857-818 Ni Transducers record signals from KTY and NI sensors. They cover the complete bandwidth of the temperature coefficients and support all connection technologies. They are configured via DIP switches, whereby the start and end temperature can be set freely. These transducers can be used cost-consciously thanks to their special device concept.
Effective immediately, the Jumpflex® relay modules (857-3xx) are equipped with a switching capacity of 8A, but thanks to their 6mm width, they nevertheless remain compact without compromise. In addition, a module with two make contact relays (857-1330), an optocoupler with a 2-way changeover contact (857-1494), and a double optocoupler (857-1430) round out the Jumpflex® product range. Finally, a new supply and through module (857-59) offers the transmission of galvanically-isolated signals. It can be combined with the interface adapter.
