Survey of WAGO

Nowadays, the entire production and office building area is about 25,000 m². A survey of the WAGO office and production facilities in Minden.
 

Motherhouse

The motherhouse of the globally active WAGO Group is located in the East-Westphalian city of Minden, near the waterway intersection Weserkanal and Mittellandkanal.

In the past years, Minden developed into an important economic center, with now approximately 4600 companies and factories located in this historic city.

Since the company establishment in 1951, the original WAGO headquarters in Minden were expanded continually. A new highlight in the successful company development was the erection of a modern development center in 2001.

 

WAGO Production Facility

A single section of today's production facility was the starting point for the successful development of the WAGO company. In order to create more jobs, the buildings were constantly expanded.
 

Administration Building

Today's administration building represents the first expansion beyond the production facilities. The building was inaugurated in 1982 and also expanded a few years later.
 

Sales Center

In 1997 the sales center was inaugurated. This building also provides the rooms for our comprehensive range of training courses and seminars.
 

Development Center

The development center was completed in 2001. The philosophy: Innovative products and the proper ideas require an open environment that is harmonized with development processes.
 

ELECTRONICC - Plant

Both WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM and interface modules have been produced at the WAGO ELECTRONICC plant on 4500 m2 floorspace since April 2004.
 

Interconnecting walkway

Construction of the interconnecting walkway and annex was completed in 2006. The sales & marketing center is now linked with the development center.
 

Automated small-parts warehouse

The component parts warehouse, with a total area of 7000 m², was completed in March 2007; operations commenced in the summer of 2007. In addition to commissioning and stock receipt on the ground floor, the building also houses a spare parts production area and staff amenities areas on the first floor.
 

Injection molding department

The laying of the foundation stone for the new injection molding plant took place at the end of November 2007. This new plant will enable WAGO to more than double their production capacity. The total area of the plant will be 9600 m².
