Scalable telecontrol solutions
Automation components from WAGO are increasingly becoming standard components in process and process engineering systems. The new TO-PASS™ family of products reinforces this with a series of components all harmonized for interaction with one another. The stand-alone variants are intended for monitoring of smaller, remote objects and are equipped accordingly for the corresponding ambient conditions - for example, their acceptable ambient temperature range is -20 to +70°C! Remote access ensures a high degree of system availability, while simultaneously relieving the service personnel from the burden of having to perform time-consuming on-site inspections.
Bi-directional SMS communication, CSD dial-up connection for remote parameterization and GPRS transmission to a freely selectable Web server are also provided. Measured values can be stored at the server in an SQL database. This eliminates the need for a local data logger and time-consuming selection and exporting of measuring points. Visualization of the measured data does not require a higher-order system, but can be saved directly on the Web server using password protection.
