JUMPFLEX^® 8-Channel Adapter for System Wiring

For large machines and equipment requiring large amounts of input and output signals, the demand for economical and error-free wiring on both field and control levels is growing disproportionately.

The new 8-channel adapter for transducers and relay modules from the JUMPFLEX series provides a fast, safe and cost-efficient solution. Basically, eight digital or analog channels are combined within a JUMPFLEX module assembly. The appropriate adapter is simply plugged into the input or output side of the module assembly, with no tools required. On the module side, a 14- or 16-pin ribbon cable with male connector, or a 15-pin cable with D-sub connector plug connect to the control unit. On the control side, two types of connection are available:

• Open end with stripped wires and ferrule, or
• 14- or 16-pin ribbon cable plug.

The second option is the perfect solution for the WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM 750 Series 16-channel modules equipped with ribbon cable socket. This solution allows not only for fast wiring, but also provides a highly-reliable connection to the field and control level. These modules are available as digital input or output versions.

JUMPFLEX^® Adapters - Eight Channels Can Be Plugged In at Once

The new interface adapter from WAGO records the signals of eight JUMPFLEX ^® modules. Combined with the 16-channel I/O module featuring ribbon cable connector, 16 signals can be connected in a few easy steps. For large machines and equipment requiring large amounts of input and output signals, the demand for economical and error-free wiring on both field and control levels is growing disproportionately. The new interface adapter fulfills these criteria for the relay modules and transducer of the Jumpflex^® product family. The interface- adapter is based on 8 channels, so that eight Jumpflex^® modules are always combined as a block. It is used as a connector via eight modules and connects their channels without additional tools.

16 channels are perfectly connected in no time via two interface adapters and a special Y-cable combined with the 16-channel bus terminal. WAGO also delivers the related connecting lines, in addition to the interface adapter. Time-consuming wiring of individual lines is done away with by the interface adapter, while reducing the risk of error at the same time.
