POWER CAGE CLAMP® - System description
Fast and safe connection. All three 285 Series terminal blocks are suitable for side entry wiring. This means that, even larger cables, which are flexible to a limited degree, can be connected without a problem. A special feature makes it even easier: The clamps can be adjusted using one button in an open condition. Therefore the user can use both hands to insert the wires into the clamping position; at 95 mm², a real labour saving enhancement. All that is required to open the clamping mechanism of the terminal blocks is a standard hex wrench or a screwdriver when using the smallest version of the terminal block.
Protective warning marker
Protective warning marker may indicate: Attention! Caution: Power is still on even after switching off the main switch!
Safety notice
Attention! Danger of injuries! Keep your fingers out of the conductor entry hole!
Touch-proof
Covers provide touch-proof safety by closing unused clamping units and jumper contact slots (detach the cover of the jumper contact slot from the touch protection cover of the clamping unit)
