The WAGO Test Lab: Accredited acc. to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025
On December 22, 2009, our test lab was accredited by the German Accrediting Association (Deutche Gesellschaft für Akkreditierung GmbH) in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025. As of that date, WAGO officially has an "accredited test lab for electrical and mechanical testing for terminal blocks and connectors and for environmental simulation".
Our lab in Minden conducts examinations and type testing in accordance with international standards, European standards and customer-specific requirements. This means that not only can interconnection and automation products be safely and reliably used on European markets, but also anywhere in the world for the most varying applications. This level of product safety and reliability, along with adherence to and dependability of technical data is of utmost priority for our customers and users throughout the world.
What's behind accreditation according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025?
Accreditation according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 is granted by the Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle GmbH DAkkS (German Accreditation Office GmbH DAkkS). This domestic accreditation company, which is registered with the Federal German Ministry for Economics and Technology (Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Technologie), certifies that a test lab is officially recognized as possessing the necessary expertise and competence to conduct defined tests and types of tests independently and objectively.
