Press releases November 2002
A new Ethernet controller and an IPC with Ethernet connection will soon add value to the WAGO ->I/O ->SYSTEM 750. Ethernet users will be able to select a wholly scalable solution, from simple data acquisition to an IPC.
A new FireWire coupler for the WAGO ->I/O ->SYSTEM 750 complements the Ethernet automation with fast real-time communication.
WAGO has signed cooperation agreements with two new partners: the automation specialist Kontron AG and the radio technology pioneer EnOcean. The users will profit doubly: defined, open interfaces and synergy effects as well.
In the new year, the WAGO ->I/O ->SYSTEM 750 will be supplemented by safety products for PROFIBUS, creating new application opportunities for modular fieldbus nodes.
New 2-conductor socket connector strips for the WAGO MULTI CONNECTOR SYSTEM permit interruption-free looping-through between modules.
WINSTA® plug-in connectors will soon be available for PCBs. The manufacturers of controllers or other devices for building automation and industry will be supplied with a very cost-effective and space-saving connection to WINSTA® wiring systems.
