- The New DALI Multi-Master Modules Goes Even Further
Not only can you control 64 DALI actuators, you can now also connect up to 64 sensors in the 753-647. This eliminates the need for installing sensor-only parallel buses. This saves time and money. Commissioning and management of the DALI networks has also been markedly simplified.
Installation time is reduced and the network structure is rendered clearer – the bottom line is that the use of DALI is now more profitable than before. Thanks to the new DALI Multi-Master module 753-647, up to 64 sensors can be connected, eliminating the need for installing additional busses for for brightness measurement or presence detection, for example.
WAGO's focus on user-friendliness drove the design and development of the 753-647 module from the very beginning. The outcome is a graphic configuration interface that expedites and simplifies commissioning and management of DALI networks. The software's most prominent features are:
- Simplified project overview
- Optimized device addressing
- Efficient volume processing
- Comprehensive functions for data backup and restoring (Backup & Restore)
An "Easy mode" is also implemented to make the software even more user friendly and easier to configure: various switching and dimming functions and light scenes can be controlled within the network without any complicated PLC programming – for devices and groups alike.
WAGO also offers two options for power supply of the DALI modules, so that customer can choose the best and most reasonably priced solution for their particular needs. A 12 mm-wide module (DALI Multi-Master DC/DC converter 753-620) provides 200 mA power supply to each DALI module. If several DALI modules are to be operated with one control system, an external 230 V DIN 35-rail mount power supply unit can provide an output current of 1100 mA (power supply 787-1007 for DALI Multi-Master modules 753-647) - enough to supply up to five parallel modules.
