From CAE to CAD
Consistent workflow: the WAGO smartDESIGNER accelerates the engineering with innovative interfaces to all common CAE and CAD systems
WAGO users profit from the automated workflow of ProServe for some time. current diagrams from a CAE system can be exported into the WAGO smartDESIGNER, using Excel, ASCII or bi-directional XML interfaces. Interfaces are available for E3.series, ECS CAD, Elcad Eplan, Ruplan and WS CAD. The terminal strips and accessories are arranged in WAGO smartDESIGNER and the final configuration is tested mechanically and electrically. the new feature permits the export of these complete assemblies as dxf, dwg, step and iges, i.e.in 2D and 3D. This covers standard CAD systems, such as AutoCAD, Pro/E, Solid Works, Unigraphics and Wildfire. The consistent workflow saves considerable time and minimizes redundant and error-prone data management.
