Five IP67 Modules Expand WAGO SPEEDWAY
Starting at the beginning of next year, there will be five additional IP67 modules available for WAGO SPEEDWAY. Initially, the I/O system in IP67 will contain an analogue input module for thermocouples (TC module) with cold-junction compensation. In addition, SPEEDWAY will be expanded to include two low-side switching, digital input and output modules.
In order to be able to take temperatures into consideration in control processes, the measurement values are collected using thermocouples. The analogue input module for thermocouples (767-6403) in IP67 offers four analogue inputs that record the values of thermocouples or voltage encoders (±36 mV, ±72 mV, ±144 mV, ±288 mV) via M12 connectors. Cold-junction compensation is handled by a PT1000 temperature sensor integrated into the M12 connector. Thus a measurement error of just ≤ ±1 K is achieved across the entire measurement range as well as for the temperature compensation. The TC module supports thermocouples B, C, E, J, K, N, R, S, T and it can be parameterized channel by channel and it is also diagnostic-capable. The M12 connector, which can be pre-assembled, is equipped with CAGE CLAMP® connection.
The 767-3803 digital input module has eight high-side switching inputs that are connected via 3-pole M8 connectors. It is diagnostic-capable module by module, and each channel can be parameterized individually. A variant is the 767-3804 module featuring M12 connectors and allowing eight channels to be distributed via 4 x M12 connectors. As a pendant to the input module, the 767-4805 digital output module is also in the program, with eight high-side switching digital outputs. It is connected via 3-pole M8 connectors and it can be parameterized channel by channel. Alternatively, actuators can also be connected with M12 connectors. For this, the 767-4806 digital output module has four (5-pole, A-coded) M12 connectors with two outputs each.
