WAGO has developed a Linect® connector for conventional lighting fixture connection to drive standardization forward. Now, lighting fixtures no longer need to be opened or prepared from the outside when they are installed.
The new connector offers all the familiar benefits of a pluggable lighting connector. It is first connected to the conventional electrical installation of a building and then snapped on to the the Linect® lighting fixture from the outside. This makes light replacement a "snap" for maintenance or retrofits, while requiring no electrical circuit interruption. The 3-pole Linect® connector is based on the proven CAGE CLAMP® S technology and is also protected against mismating. It is designed for any conductor type (solid, stranded and fine-stranded) up to 2.5mm² /AWG 14 and a maximum nominal current of 24 A.
