EPSITRON® in Buildings

Non-residential buildings are seeing a huge spike in demand for the seemingly opposing goals of energy conservation and comfort – and this driving the increase in building automation. Meeting these requirements, WAGO's compact line of EPSITRON® Power Supplies features buffering capability and provides a decentralized power supply solution for automation components.

EPSITRON® – Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) Application

Even during power failure, the key functions of a building must be maintained. WAGO's EPSITRON® UPS units reliably supply building functions, such as access control, lighting or monitoring systems.

EPSITRON® – Electronic Circuit Breaker (ECB) Application

In process control equipment requiring long cable runs, selecting the right circuit protection represents a significant challenge. High cable resistances prevent thermomagnetic circuit breakers from reliably tripping. Only ECBs can precisely trip in the event of low overcurrents within a defined time. WAGO's ECBs reliably protect process control equipment, e.g., against unintended start in the event of ground faults

EPSITRON® – PRO Power Supply Application

Space savings translate into costs savings for machine and system control cabinets. This is why WAGO's slimline EPSITRON® PRO Power Supplies pack an impressive amount power within a tiny footprint. The units provide a power reserve of up to 200 % (PowerBoost) to provide extra power for start-up and quick load changes. An integrated TopBoost feature permits cost-effective, secondary-side fusing via standard circuit breakers.
