From your perspective, what advantages does WINSTA® offer over a conventional electrical installation?
WINSTA® is very attractive for building owners, since little effort is required to adapt the electrical installations to changing conditions after the fact. And for installers, the pluggable connector system is much more convenient, since everything is done significantly more quickly and smoothly by hand.
What exactly must electrical installers be prepared for the first time they use it?
Above all, significant time savings. Compared to a conventional installation, you need only about half as much time withWINSTA®. Therefore, the calculation is also different, which certainly requires some getting used to.
What is different for you as a planner?
As a planner, I need to consider in detail how many distribution boxes will be installed, how long the interconnecting cables need to be, and how many cables are needed for each one. WAGO provides excellent support in this regard.
What is the ideal application of WINSTA®?
For larger projects with repetitive installations, WINSTA® is definitely ideal. In my opinion, this is exactly where the system can show off its strengths. Furthermore, the economic advantages of the solution increase with the size of the installation.
Has WINSTA® rendered conventional installation obsolete?
Conventional solutions still are justified in some cases, especially for smaller construction projects that don’t require a flexible and future-proof electrical installation.
