Actuation variants

With the expanding TOPJOB® S Rail-Mount Terminal Block range, you can now choose from three actuation variants: lever, push-button or operating slot. Choose the models that best suit your application.

Through Terminal Blocks

TOPJOB® S Through Terminal Blocks are available as single-, double- and triple-deck versions, as well as quadruple-deck terminal blocks for, e.g., electric motor wiring.

  • Single-deck terminal blocks connect conductors ranging from 0.14 to 25 mm2 (24–4 AWG)
  • Clear identification via center marker slots for continuous multi-line marking strips and WMB markers

Disconnect/Test Terminal Blocks

WAGO's disconnect/test terminal blocks allow you to quickly and safely disconnect circuits. The orange-colored knife disconnects or disconnect plugs are located between the conductors and are always visible to the operator.

TOPJOB® S Fuse Terminal Blocks protect electrical circuits against short circuits and ensure fail-safe system operation. These fuse terminal blocks are designed for miniature metric fuses or blade-style fuses.

Current and Voltage Transformer Terminal Blocks

TOPJOB® S Current Transformer (Disconnect/Test) Terminal Blocks are designed for current transformer circuits. These blocks are ideal for safe and automatic short-circuiting, as well as easy measurement applications.

Diode and LED Terminal Blocks

WAGO's diode terminal blocks have been specially developed for custom diode circuits, such as lamp test and collective fault signal circuits. Using LED terminal blocks, monitoring units can be designed for control and operating circuits.

Pluggable Diode and LED Modules

WAGO's pluggable diode and LED modules simplify the creation of specialty functional units – no additional assembly and wiring costs. They are available in the two following versions: As modules to be inserted into the disconnect contacts of two adjacent carrier terminal blocks and as variants to be plugged into the jumper slots of standard through terminal blocks. Furthermore, empty component plug housings for carrier terminal blocks can be individually equipped with resistors, diodes or other components.

From Wernigerode, they have gone out into the world to revolutionize junction boxes. The motor designers at VEM use the new TOPJOB® S Rail-Mount Terminal Blocks with push-buttons from WAGO. While this may not appear spectacular at first glance, it has the potential to make the installation of motors faster and safer. The “VEMoCONTACT” also improves ergonomics in the workplace – primarily for maintenance and service personnel.

By the Region, for the Region: an Innovative Natural Resource Recovery System

Cows, steers, pigs: The Borken district is a rural area, and the animals deposit important nutrients. However, the West Münsterland region does not have enough acreage for releasing the liquid manure on fields for its nutrients. Nitrogen, phosphorous and potassium salts can be recovered from liquid manure – so it’s a shame to waste it. What to do? Doris Nienhaus, CEO of NDM Naturwerkstoffe GmbH in Velen, had an innovative idea in 2013, the likes of which the world had never seen before. 90 farmers from the Borken region and the new TOPJOB® S Rail-Mount Terminal Block with lever from WAGO were there too.

While doing so, he has a vision – a company of his own, devoted to the goal of managing the various building systems with a single system, for optimal space conditions, maximum resource utilization and, finally, economical building operation. More than 40 years later, around 200 employees at Hörburger AG work on allowing buildings and equipment to be used and operated even more efficiently while conserving resources. “There is no life without water” – every human being consumes several thousand liters of fresh water each day, either directly as drinking water, or indirectly through the production of food and industrial products. A relatively small fraction of 100 liters of drinking water per person is calculated by the World Health Organization (WHO) to be the daily minimum. The challenge at hand is: How can optimal purification of water be guaranteed today? And how can microplastics be efficiently filtered out of our water? To this end, Mösslein GmbH Wassertechnik, in cooperation with the WAGO solutions provider IDEAS, developed an innovative system for optimal filtration. WAGO supported this system with its new TOPJOB® S Rail-Mount Terminal Blocks with levers.
