Reliable PCB Terminal Blocks for Power Electronics
The trend toward downsized components presents new challenges for power electronics. The increased performance density brought about by combining the signal and output layer on the PCB also impacts connection systems. PCB terminal blocks must be compact to reliably transmit currents while simultaneously functioning flawlessly with the PCB under demanding conditions.
Your benefits:
- Comprehensive product line-up, ranging from 0.2 to 25 mm2 (24–4 AWG)
- Push-in CAGE CLAMP® termination
- Wider conductor range and higher current carrying capacity
- Connect conductors both horizontally and vertically to the PCB
- Testing both parallel and perpendicular to conductor entry

PCB Terminal Blocks with Push-in CAGE CLAMP® and Levers
PCB terminal blocks with Push-in CAGE CLAMP® and levers (2604, 2606 and 2616 Series) can be intuitively operated without tools via the levers. These terminal blocks, with their compact size, high current carrying capacity and their integrated connection technology, provide for faster and easier wiring. Lever operation provides a secure connection when the easy-to-use lever closes the clamping unit. The lever also clearly locks into position (open/closed) with a tactile and audible click. Conductors can be connected both horizontally and vertically to the PCB and testing can be performed parallel or perpendicular to conductor entry.
Advantages of PCB terminal blocks with Push-in CAGE CLAMP® and levers:
- Faster and easier wiring
- Tool-free, intuitive lever operation
- Secure connection via easy and effortless lever actuation into closed position
- Lever clearly locks into position (open/closed)
Handy PCB Connection with Pluggable Connection System
The pluggable connector family with levers for all performance classes: MCS MINI, MCS MAXI 6 and MCS MAXI 16 cover a cross-section range from 0.14 to 25 mm², providing a suitable pluggable PCB connector for every use – whether compact applications or higher power demands. The intuitive lever allows conductors to be wired directly in-hand.
The Benefits for You:
- Intuitive, tool-free lever operation
- Mechanical reinforcement via optional strain relief plates
- Push-in CAGE CLAMP® termination of both solid conductors and fine-stranded conductors with ferrules
- Coding and locking options available
Convenient Device Connection with the 2601 Series
With the 2601 Series PCB Terminal Block, even small cross-sections can be wired in the field without tools thanks to lever technology. This module is ideal for cross-sections from 0.14 to 1.5 mm². Thanks to CAGE CLAMP®, solid conductors and fine-stranded conductors with ferrules can be connected by simply pushing them into the unit. The lever also works for all other conductor types, offering quick and easy wiring.
Field Connection with Levers for 2.5 mm² Too
The MCS MINI’s levers makes it easy to wire small cross-sections from 0.14 to 1.5 mm² without tools. The low-profile 10 mm design is ideal for confined installation spaces and slim devices. The versatile locking system prevents unintentional disconnection, and the Push-in CAGE CLAMP® allows direct pluggable connection of solid conductors and fine-stranded conductors with ferrules.
FIELD CONNECTIONS ARE NOW CONVENIENT – EVEN FOR SMALL CROSS-SECTIONS
WAGO's MCS MINI PCB Connector with a lever and push-in connection technology offers greater wiring convenience for conductor cross-sections up to 1.5 mm2.
Connecting Single Pair Ethernet without Special Plugs
Single Pair Ethernet enables high-speed ETHERNET connections over long distances using only a single wire pair. This saves space and reduces weight in applications while conserving resources. The compact 2601 and 2086 Series PCB Terminal Blocks offer a straightforward connection process for Single Pair Ethernet, since no special plug is required.
Flexible Mounting Adapters for Secure DIN-Rail and Panel Mounting
Secure, flexible mounting: This is what WAGO’s new mounting adapters offer for the MCS MAXI 6 and 16 PCB Connection Systems with levers. They allow you to easily secure flying leads with cross-sections up to 25 mm2 to a DIN-35 rail or panel.
Center Locking Lever and Strain Relief Plates – Maximum Safety in Minimum Space
The center locking lever, with or without strain relief plate, for WAGO’s 832 Series MCS MAXI 16 Pluggable PCB Connectors provides both maximum safety and an easy-to-use design, even in the smallest spaces.
Locking Solutions – Maximum Safety in Minimum Space
Maximum safety in minimum space and greater flexibility for device design – this is what the three locking systems for the MCS MAXI 6 Pluggable PCB Connection System offer, giving electronics developers the perfect locking options to protect their applications against accidental disconnection.
