Certified Processes and Products

WAGO began early with the application of internationally recognized management system standards and has expanded these efforts over the years. In this way, we have committed ourselves not only to the quality of our products and services, but also to responsible action with respect to the environment, energy, health and occupational safety, as well as our social responsibility. Our certificates prove that this is implemented in practice at WAGO.

We are certified in accordance with:

  • DIN ISO 14001
  • DIN EN ISO 50001
  • DIN ISO 9001
  • IRIS
  • AEO
  • Interseroh
  • SA 8000
  • OHSAS 18001

DIN ISO 14001

WAGO stresses both environmental management and conservation, making both of them keystones of our overall philosophy. These efforts have been rewarded with ISO 14001 certification.

Independent certification bodies verify that WAGO has fulfilled the requirements of DIN ISO 14001. The certification proves how deeply committed we are, not just to product quality, but also to humanity and the environment.

DIN EN ISO 50001

WAGO considers energy efficiency, as well as the conservation of natural resources and energy, central to our overall philosophy. This was confirmed by the successful certification by TÜV SÜD Management Service GmbH of our plants in Germany (Minden and Sondershausen) per ISO 50001.

DIN ISO 9001

In addition to product quality, other factors play important roles in international competition in ensuring customer satisfaction, such as reliable service, communication, costs and deadlines. In order to align all business processes with these metrics, WAGO has implemented the ISO 9001 requirements across the board and has had this confirmed by an independent certification company.

IRIS

For WAGO, IRIS certification is the key to the international railway industry. WAGO was one of the first companies to receive the IRIS certificate. It combines the requirements of the Association of the European Rail Industry (UNIFE) and of the ISO/TS 22163 international management system standard. These requirements integrate the topics of ISO 9001 and supplement them with additional topics and more specifics to systematically ensure customer satisfaction and business success.
