Pluggable Relay Modules for TOPJOB® S Rail-Mount Terminal Blocks

WAGO's new 2042 Series Pluggable Relay Modules are extremely easy and safe to install. They are directly plugged onto the carrier terminal blocks of the TOPJOB® S Rail-Mount Terminal Block System. This combination of rail-mount terminal blocks and relay modules saves the user an extra wiring level.

Due to their plug-in capability, WAGO's new relay modules can be mounted quickly and easily. Fixed wiring effectively prevents wiring errors during maintenance. The new series includes 18 variants. This diversity meets the requirements of almost all industrial and railway applications.

Robust Relays for Harsh Environments

The harsh environmental conditions within industrial and railway applications place high demands on the components used. The new relay modules are very robust and withstand high vibration and shock loads. For example, they meet both DIN EN 61373 (vibration and shock) and DIN EN 50121-3-2 (EMC) railway standard requirements. The modules also provide near-universal applicability thanks to a voltage input range of 16.8 V to 253 V, which is both very broad and high. The relays are ready for restriction-free use in temperatures ranging from −40°C to +70°C.

The new pluggable relay modules are expected to be available by the end of April 2018.
