Lloyds Register Approval Extended to the WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM 750 XTR

The WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM 750 XTR now carries Lloyds Register certification for both shipbuilding and offshore applications in addition to the existing marine approvals.

Onboard technology must function reliably on the demanding high seas, and new certifications show that shipyards and shipping companies can rely on WAGO's extreme environment control technology. In addition to existing DNV-GL (Det Norske Veritas and Germanischer Lloyd) and ABS (American Bureau of Shipping) approvals, the WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM 750 XTR now boasts marine approval by LR (Lloyds Register). With this approval, LR joins a host of prominent bureaus in confirming the robustness of the WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM 750 XTR and the suitability of WAGO's automation technology for duty on international shipping routes.

Your benefits:

  • eXTReme temperatures: −40°C … +70°C

  • eXTReme isolation and immunity to interference (EN 60870-2-1)

  • eXTReme vibration resistance: up to 5g (EN 60068-2-6)

  • eXTReme continuous shock resistance: up to 25g (IEC 60068-2-27)

  • eXTReme intrinsic safety: for signal acquisition from Zones 0/20 and 1/21

  • Approvals: UL, ANSI/ISA, ATEX/IECEx, marine systems (e.g., DNV GL, ABS, LR)

The highly modular and expandable WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM 750 XTR also carries ATEX and IECEx approvals for use in explosive environments. This makes the system suitable for incredibly demanding applications, such as those found on tankers and drilling platforms. Sensors and actuators from Zones 0/20 and 1/21 can be integrated via WAGO's new intrinsically safe 750 XTR Modules to record monitoring data directly from the tank.

For more than a decade, WAGO products have earned certifications from these classification bureaus and the company has subjected its automation systems to strict EMC tests as well as compass inspection. These designations certify the suitability of WAGO’s systems in safety-critical environments with special electrical and mechanical requirements, for example on the bridge of a ship, in the machine room or near navigation systems.
