Germany, 1973: 28-year-old Kurt Hörburger enjoys cycling on the highway, going for walks and much more. While doing so, he has a vision – a company of his own, devoted to the goal of managing the various building systems with a single system, for optimal space conditions, maximum resource utilization and, finally, economical building operation. More than 40 years later, around 200 employees at Hörburger AG work on allowing buildings and equipment to be used and operated even more efficiently while conserving resources.
