Multichannel ECBs With Communication
The 4- and 8-channel ECBs feature integrated communication interfaces that provide full remote access. These devices can be configured, controlled, and monitored via IO-Link, Modbus RTU, or the Manchester protocol. When connected to a controller, they deliver data that supports monitoring, fault diagnostics, and preventive maintenance.
- Precise protection against overloads, short circuits, and ground faults: Reliable tripping behavior, even with small conductor cross-sections; compliant with EN 60204-1 by disconnecting ground faults within five seconds.
- Space-saving: Compact 32 mm (1.26 inch) housing for 4- or 8-channel versions; front-entry wiring with pluggable spring pressure connection technology
- Easy wiring: Fast and secure front-entry wiring using pluggable connectors with mismating protection via CAGE CLAMP® technology
- Versatile setting: Channel-specific trip current selection from 0.5 to 10 A (up to 16 A in parallel operation); module-level configuration of signaling behavior
- Signaling: Collective signal output (e.g., to indicate if any channel has tripped due to overcurrent); individual channel status via integrated multicolor LED
- Channel-specific monitoring and full remote access: Bidirectional communication via IO-Link, Modbus RTU, or Manchester protocol enables complete status monitoring and remote reactivation of each channel.
- Intuitive, software-protected configuration: Interface configuration software enables configuration management and firmware updates. Device configurations can be read, saved, deployed across multiple units, and restored as needed.
