Energy Data Management

Parameter Setting – Not Programming

WAGO Energy Data Management, consisting of software combined with a modular control system, records measurement data of different media and parameters for energy monitoring and processes them for further analyses, archiving and reporting. The software automatically detects different signals from the connected meters and sensors, making them available for additional energy analysis tools via simple parameter settings.

Greater Efficiency through Interoperability and Transparency

Data transparency, system openness and user-friendly visualization – these are the benefits the WAGO Energy Data Management solution offers. With OPC UA, simple MID energy meter integration and clear dashboards in HTML5, it now provides an even more comprehensive solution for getting started with or expanding your energy management.

Many Different Connection Options

According to ISO 50001, the path to an integrated energy management plan requires a transparent open-interface data management system. This is exactly what WAGO Energy Data Management software makes possible across all industries – from manufacturing, to building technology and the process industry – because this application supports a huge range of bus systems and communication protocols, allowing access to a wide variety of locally recorded data. The main focus is on the industry-proven data exchange standard “Open Platform Communications Unified Architecture” (OPC UA) for communication to higher-level control systems.

Another advantage: In billing-relevant applications with MID-standardized energy meters – such WAGO’s 879 Series – data can be recorded and exported via Modbus®, without additional hardware.

The Benefits for You:

  • Extensive connectivity options and a high level of interoperability among energy meters and systems (e.g., via OPC UA)
  • In billing-relevant applications with MID meters, data can be recorded without additional hardware
  • Clear HTML5 Web-visualization dashboards combine detailed insights with ease of use
  • The modular I/O System offers maximum scaling options for perfectly adapting measurement technology and data acquisition, transfer and analysis to your specific conditions
