4-Channel Analog Module with Electrically Isolated Multipoint Inputs Joins the WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM

A new module joins the WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM 750: The 750-471 4-Channel AI Module features four electrically isolated multipoint inputs, making it ideal for all applications in which signal acquisition requires high immunity to interference.

Electrically isolating signal inputs effectively prevents interference due to potential differences that may occur in decentralized automated systems. The new 750-471 4-Channel Analog Module from the WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM 750 has electrically isolated inputs that can be parameterized on a channel-by-channel basis, allowing it to be used in marine and offshore applications, for example.

At a Glance:

  • Electrically isolated input channels

  • Reduction of interference susceptibility in distributed systems, protection against errors due to current loops

  • High precision with 16-bit resolution

  • Individually parametrizable (channel by channel for each encoder)

High Resolution, Flexible Parameterization

The resolution of the analog inputs is 16 bits. The channels can be set either as a current input ranging from 0 to 20 mA, 4 to 20 mA, 3.6 to 21 mA (NAMUR NE43) or ±20 mA, or as a voltage input ranging from 0 to 10 V, ±10 V and even as a millivolt input of ±200 mV. This makes WAGO's new module very flexible, enabling almost any analog encoder to be recorded depending on the application, while saving storage and operational costs.
