The 788 Series Relays are ideal for switching applications in industry and process automation. These relay modules can be used either for two-channel operation or for safe switching of high loads up to 16 A (e.g., lamp loads).
The 859 Series Relay Modules with miniature switching relays and optocoupler modules are ideal for interface levels in all industrial applications. Their slim design saves you space in the control cabinet. Simple commoning on the control and load side also allows you to quickly daisy-chain common input and output potentials.
The 2042 Series Relay Modules plug directly onto the carrier terminal blocks from the WAGO TOPJOB® S Rail-Mount Terminal Block System for easy and secure installation. The combination of rail-mount terminal blocks and relay modules eliminates the need for an additional wiring interface.
Incredibly robust, these modules withstand high vibration and shock loads. For example, they meet the requirements of the DIN EN 61373 (vibration and shock) and DIN EN 50121-3-2 (EMC) railway standards.
The 789 Series’ applications range from simple lighting control in building installations to installations in industrial control cabinets. The 17.5 mm (0.689 inch) wide design in a DIN-rail-mount enclosure is particularly well-suited to installation in distribution cabinets and meter boards.
The 857 Series Sockets with miniature switching relays and solid-state relays perfectly combine a housing with electronics.
The 858 Series Sockets are designed for DIN-35 rail mounting and thus for commercially available industrial relays with standard pin spacing. They can accommodate relays with two or four changeover contacts. In practice, the sockets allow rapid relay replacement for servicing without disconnecting the wiring.

New Solid-State Relay Module with Lower Power Loss at Higher Load Current
Making the best possible use of the limited space available is essential in control cabinet manufacturing. The new solid-state relay module (SSR module) can help: It switches a limiting continuous current up to 8 A. Due to its low power loss, it generates significantly less heat. This makes it possible to achieve high-density wiring – i.e., a larger number of switching elements – within a control cabinet with the same total power loss.
SSR modules are suitable for applications where a coupling level is required between the PLC and the load that is to be switched. Since they operate without moving parts, there is no mechanical wear. As a result, they offer a long service life, switch silently and are insensitive to shock and vibration. WAGO’s SSR modules use sockets that are pin-compatible with standard relays, making it very easy to replace a relay.
