Edge Controller
Experience advanced control with WAGO's Edge Controller. Powered by an ARM Cortex-A9 quad-core processor, it offers multiple interfaces for easy integration, space-saving installation, and seamless connection to Cloud services, machine learning, and predictive maintenance.
Edge Computer
Where demands on computing power and memory are high, WAGO offers the perfect solution with its Edge Computer line of IPCs. This also includes an upgraded 2nd generation version featuring either a Quad-core Atom processor or a higher end i7 processor as well as expanded memory for more intense and higher demanding applications. Each low-maintenance, compact Edge Computer is equipped with standard Debian Linux and supports powerful apps like AI, Node-RED, and digital twins.
Easy Cloud Connection
Collected data can be evaluated directly, displayed graphically and made available to WAGO cloud, for example. Transfer may be appropriate for especially critical data, for instance. Both of the new devices have additional advantages when data needs to be buffered temporarily, for instance in mobile applications. They are based on cabinet-compatible hardware, can be powered with 24 V and thus fit perfectly into the automation environment.
Equipped for High Security
A TPM 2.0 chip allows an encryption mechanism to be used to ensure data security. A large proportion of the software on the devices is open-source, so they are always equipped with the best software technology, since the large open-source community is continually reviewing the source code and providing bugfixes. Besides the standard VPN applications, the devices are open for special security solutions such as Tosibox and Hooc. Thus, in addition to WAGO’s own VPN solution, users can also access other remote maintenance solutions with a high degree of security, in line with the #openandeasy principle.
