Surface Mount PCB Terminal Blocks

A compact and low-profile PCB connection is required in many electronics applications, particularly in luminaires for optical uniform light distribution, while minimizing shadowing. Surface mount PCB terminal blocks, with their combination of a flat design and wide application scope fully satisfy these demands.

Your benefits:

  • Push-in termination of solid or tin bonded conductors

  • Low profile minimizes on-board shadowing

  • Comes in tape-and-reel packaging for full integration into SMT soldering process

  • Lower costs via automated pick-and-place assembly

  • THR variants also available

2070 Series – Back-Side Wiring of LED Modules

WAGO’s all-new 2070 Series SMD PCB Terminal Blocks provide back-side wiring of LED modules, minimizing on-board LED shadowing and simplifying wiring. With the new 2070 Series, WAGO introduces the new SMD PCB Terminal Blocks for solid and fine-stranded conductors ranging from 24 to 18 AWG (0.2 to 0.75 mm2). The special feature: The new terminals blocks are designed for back-side wiring of LED modules.

  • For shifting wiring to the back of the LED modules

  • Low profile of just 0.433 inch (1.1 mm) on top of the PCB minimizes shadowing

  • Easy pick-and-place assembly and minimum shadowing thanks to optional cover

  • Optional marking of the clamping point helps prevent wiring errors

  • Clearance and creepage distances for use up to 500 V per EN 60598-1

  • Supports both manual and automated wiring

2075 Series: For Vertical Wiring

  • Wiring performed from the back of the LED module simplifies luminaire manufacturing

  • Compact design provides uniform light distribution

  • An economical alternative to wire soldering in any industrial electronics application

  • Supports both manual and automated wiring systems
