More power for your PCB

WAGO PCB Terminal Blocks and Pluggable PCB Connectors for Power Electronics

The trend toward downsized components presents new challenges for power electronics. The increased performance density brought about by combining the signal and output layer on the PCB also impacts connection systems. PCB terminal blocks must be compact to reliably transmit currents while simultaneously functioning flawlessly with the PCB under demanding conditions.

Advantages:

  • Comprehensive product range: 0.2 … 25 mm2 (24 … 4 AWG)
  • Push-in CAGE CLAMP® terminates both solid and fine-stranded conductors with ferrules by simply pushing them into the unit.
  • Wider conductor range and higher current carrying capacity
  • Conductor connection and mating direction both parallel and perpendicular to the PCB
  • Testing both parallel and perpendicular to conductor entry

WAGO PCB Connection Technology with Push-in CAGE CLAMP®

MCS MAXI 16 Pluggable PCB Connectors

The worldwide unique pluggable connection system for power electronics with levers enables intuitive and tool-free operation. It permits direct, in-hand wiring of conductors up to 4 AWG (25 mm⊃2;). The connectors are equipped with Push-in CAGE CLAMP® technology for all conductor types, allowing solid and ferruled conductors to be simply pushed into the unit.

Advantages:

  • Easy in-hand wiring via lever actuation
  • Tool-free, intuitive lever operation
  • 100% protected against mismating
  • Coding and locking options available
  • Flexible wiring - connect at 0°, 90°, or 180° to PCB

PCB Terminal Blocks with Push-in CAGE CLAMP®

The 2624, 2626 and 2636 Series PCB Terminal Blocks are ideal for compact device connections, particularly in panel feedthrough applications. The integrated Push-in CAGE CLAMP® terminates both solid and ferruled conductors by simply pushing them into unit. Tool-actuated termination is performed parallel to conductor entry, enabling the PCB terminal blocks to be easily used, even with a high density of components, while testing can be performed parallel or perpendicular to conductor entry.

Advantages:

  • Compact device connection
  • Ideal for panel feedthrough and space-restricted applications
  • Operation parallel to conductor entry
  • Footprint compatibility to existing solutions
  • For applications complying with EN and UL 61800-5-1 (details upon request)

PCB Terminal Blocks with Push-in CAGE CLAMP® and Levers

PCB terminal blocks with levers (2604, 2606 and 2616 Series) can be intuitively operated without tools via the levers. These terminal blocks, with their compact size, high current carrying capacity and the advantages of Push-in CAGE CLAMP® termination technology, provide for faster and easier wiring.

Advantages:

  • Faster and easier wiring
  • Tool-free, intuitive lever operation
  • Secure connection by effortlessly lowering lever to closed position
  • Lever clearly locks into position (open/closed)
