Seamless Information Flow for Optimal Networking

WAGO diversifies its product range with a new controller in the PFC200 G2 family that excels at networking. The controller is equipped with additional connection options: four RJ-45 interfaces, a Sub-D for CAN and a USB connection.

Two of the ETHERNET interfaces enable PROFINET network connection; the WAGO Controller can be used as an I-Device (slave) and offers several new options. Furthermore, the controller has two additional ETHERNET interfaces that allow connection to additional subnets, such as the control level, or direct connection to visualization devices. Despite numerous onboard interfaces, the new PFC200’s housing remains very compact.

Impressively, within the controller’s compact footprint are a powerful CPU, large memory and the advantage of simplified programming via WAGO’s e!COCKPIT Engineering Environment. With dynamic generation of the GSDML file, e!COCKPIT supports easy integration into the PROFINET network.

During development, WAGO ensured that the new controller fully supports all requirements of PROFINET Conformance Class B and the PROFINET MRP protocol in the client role.

Anticipated availability: May 2019
