Ready for compact installations, a new model completes WAGO's series of current transformers with voltage taps. In addition to the 50 mm2 (1/0 AWG) and 95 mm2 (4/0 AWG) versions, a current transformer with voltage tap for WAGO's 185 mm2 (350 kcmil) through terminal block is now also available, making it perfect for measuring energy in small spaces.
WAGO has expanded its line of PCB terminal blocks to help engineers address the trend of electronic miniaturization, which requires that both power and signal levels be integrated onto PCBs. This trend has changed connection technology requirements by increasing power density. leading WAGO to offer its 2606 and 2626 Series PCB Terminal Blocks with 12.5 mm (0.492") pin spacing. Additionally, its 2616 and 2636 Series PCB Terminal Blocks are now available with 15 mm (0.59") pin spacing.
Packing 30 W of performance, WAGO's Compact Power Supply (787-2850) in a DIN-rail-mount enclosure offers a lot of power in a scant 35.5 mm (1.398"). Thanks to the slim design, it saves around 33% more space in the control cabinet and distribution board than standard power supplies.
Three new devices join WAGO's line of Compact Power Supplies, providing 12 VDC output voltage at 2.5 A (787-1201), 5 A (787-1211) and 8 A (787-1221) output currents. The DIN-rail-mount housing dimensions for these power supplies meet all requirements of DIN 43880. Developed for distribution cabinets, these highly reliable power supplies also meet the electrical safety requirements of EN 60335-1.
Until now, reliably powering a fieldbus node was the sole function for both WAGO's field-side power supply filters and power supply filters. However, two new variants now offer integrated ground diagnostics as well. And these models go beyond merely protecting the system against high-energy disturbances on DC supply lines, such as those caused by switching overvoltages or inductive loads, and the field supply against transient overvoltages.
