WAGO Gets Involved in Bosch Rexroth’s ctrlX AUTOMATION
The goal is to establish ctrlX AUTOMATION on the market as an open automation system through partnerships that promote innovation, and through co-creation. This should give users all the building blocks they need for complete automation solutions, enabling them to take full advantage of digitization and networking. WAGO’s #openandeasy strategy fits perfectly with this approach. We have focused on openness and interoperability for years. With our open automation platform, we offer flexible I/O systems with numerous interfaces – from digital and analog signal processing, to industry-specific communication. WAGO’s first involvement with ctrlX AUTOMATION will consist in the open and easy connection of its wide range of WAGO I/O systems to the ctrlX CORE control platform via EtherCAT®. This joint solution promises customers freedom for adaptable custom solutions.
