IT & Communication for Major Events (Germany)

Festivals are an extreme test for any IT infrastructure: thousands of devices, changing conditions, maximum loads. In order for “Das Fest” in Karlsruhe to run smoothly, "Festival WLAN" provides stable networks: they are supported in this by WAGO technology, whose power supplies, thermocouples, threshold value switches and secure connections run in the background so that crews, artists, and guests have reliable network access. A Moment of Success that shows that major events require strong technology – and strong partners.

AI drone for early forest fire detection (Germany)

Forests are an important part of our natural world. This makes forest fires all the more devastating, and they are also becoming more common in Germany. This is exactly where Evolonic comes in: Using their drone system, they can detect smoke sources, embers and hotspots at an early stage, and support emergency services on site with real-time data about the fire. The project is also made possible thanks to WAGO: Splicing connectors and our Pro 2 Power Supply are used, among other parts, in the drone’s mobile charging station.

Electric Race Cars for the “Formula Student” Competition (China)

The DIAN Racing Team at Tongji University in Shanghai designs state-of-the-art electric race cars to successfully compete in the "Formula Student" – the world’s largest engineering competition for university students.

Sustainable Drinking Water Solutions (Belgium)

The Belgian company offers sustainable drinking water solutions in shipping containers, called a “Q-Drop” for short, to help thousands of people in remote areas. BOSAQ relies on the WAGO Cloud, among other things, for the technology, to enable simple, remote monitoring of its systems.

The American company, AmplifiedAg, transforms old shipping containers into hydroponic farms with the goal of growing food more sustainably and all around the world. WAGO’s products guarantee fast, easy and reliable wiring of the lighting elements and control system.
