IT & Communication for Major Events (Germany)

Festivals are an extreme test for any IT infrastructure: thousands of devices, changing conditions, maximum loads. In order for “Das Fest” in Karlsruhe to run smoothly, "Festival WLAN" provides stable networks: they are supported in this by WAGO technology, whose power supplies, thermocouples, threshold value switches and secure connections run in the background so that crews, artists, and guests have reliable network access. A Moment of Success that shows that major events require strong technology – and strong partners.

AI drone for early forest fire detection (Germany)

Forests are an important part of our natural world. This makes forest fires all the more devastating, and they are also becoming more common in Germany. This is exactly where Evolonic comes in: Using their drone system, they can detect smoke sources, embers and hotspots at an early stage, and support emergency services on site with real-time data about the fire. The project is also made possible thanks to WAGO: Splicing connectors and our Pro 2 Power Supply are used, among other parts, in the drone’s mobile charging station.

Electric Race Cars for the “Formula Student” Competition (China)

The DIAN Racing Team at Tongji University in Shanghai designs state-of-the-art electric race cars to successfully compete in the "Formula Student" – the world’s largest engineering competition for university students.

The Belgian company offers sustainable drinking water solutions in shipping containers, called a “Q-Drop” for short, to help thousands of people in remote areas. BOSAQ relies on the WAGO Cloud, among other things, for the technology, to enable simple, remote monitoring of its systems.

The American company, AmplifiedAg, transforms old shipping containers into hydroponic farms with the goal of growing food more sustainably and all around the world. WAGO’s products guarantee fast, easy and reliable wiring of the lighting elements and control system.

Vertical Strawberry Cultivation (Belgium)

Vertiberry, headquartered in Belgium, specializes in multi-layered strawberry cultivation solutions, with the goal of allowing local, pesticide-free organic cultivation of this popular fruit in any location, at any time. In the process, Vertiberry relies on WAGO to provide technical solutions that grow along with customers’ needs.

Fresh Pizza Any Time and Everywhere (France)

API TECH has developed the Smart Pizza, a pizza vending machine that uses industry standard technology and offers reliable 24/7 operation. The industrialization of the wiring process in the Smart Pizza allowed the French company to optimize their production processes and move faster to production – due to WAGO products.

High-Performance Air Purifier (Germany)

The family-run Miele Group has developed an air purifier that filters viruses, fine dust and pollen from indoor air using a five-stage filter system. Partners with shared values: Miele is not only located near WAGO, it also shares high quality standards and a drive to develop solutions that really help customers.

Environmentally Friendly Carwash Technology (Poland)

Eurowash, a Polish carwash system manufacturer, is a trendsetter in several highly advanced carwash projects. One prime example: Eurowash’s water recycling system, which reduces consumption of clean water to make car washing more environmentally friendly. WAGO has proudly supported Eurowash as a technology partner from the beginning.

Detecting Temperature Anomalies (Germany)

Detecting thermal anomalies before they become a risk – this is the expertise of TTS Automation. The company relies on durable, tried-and-tested components like control technology from WAGO for this intelligent system, which is also used for detecting temperature anomalies on reactor surfaces.
