Current Transformers

According to VDE 0141:2000-01, section 5.3.4, current and voltage transformers must be grounded on the secondary side for nominal voltages of Um 3.6 kV and above. For low voltage up to Um 1.2 kV, grounding can be omitted if the transformer housing does not have any metal surfaces that can be touched over a large area.
