Industrial Switches for Your Network Solution
WAGO's managed and unmanaged switches are a cost-effective, stable, redundant networking solution with comprehensive security functions, as well as broadcast and bandwidth limiting. The individually configurable industrial switches reliably network all ETHERNET devices and ensure continuous access to your machines and systems.
The Jet Ring, Xpress Ring and ERPSv2 Ring make it possible to create redundant network structures to guarantee secure communication, even if connections are faulty. WAGO’s fully managed network switches have an integrated Web-based management. Any Web browser can be used to configure the switch. These robust switches are designed for industrial use and are fully compliant with standards like IEEE 802.3z, IEEE 802.3, IEEE 802.3u, IEEE 802.3ab and others.

Your Benefits with WAGO Switches
- Availability and Redundancy
WAGO’s industrial switches feature a redundant power supply and switchable ring redundancy for uninterrupted data communication. The Xpress Ring provides a recovery time of under 20 ms, ensuring high process reliability. The productivity and network availability of your machines and systems are consistently maintained. Along with communication link redundancy, the switches also feature a redundant power supply that can be monitored via an alarm relay. Even in case of power failure, communication is maintained. - Advanced Security Functions
Managed switches support comprehensive security features such as MAC Limitation and Port Security. With IEEE 802.1x authentication, IGMP Snooping, as well as broadcast and bandwidth limitations, they provide additional data flow control and protect your systems against cyberattacks. - Modular and Expandable
Switches can be customized for different fiber optic cables and distances using interchangeable SFP modules, supporting both multimode and single-mode fibers for ranges up to 80 km. With the right combination of copper and fiber optic cables, you are equipped to meet a wide range of requirements. - Integrated Function Monitoring
Managed switches offer configurable monitoring options, such as email alerts and SNMP traps for fault detection. Most models, except for Eco variants, support port and power supply monitoring through a potential-free alarm contact, which can be configured via a DIP switch. - Various Operating Modes
Unmanaged switches are ideal for plug-and-play use, whereas managed switches are designed for applications that require IP filtering or advanced telegram interpretation. - Power over Ethernet (PoE+)
Power over Ethernet (PoE+) allows for both power supply and data transfer through a single ETHERNET cable, eliminating the need for a separate power connection for devices linked to the switches via the IP network.

Communicate with Machines Wirelessly
Wireless Access Point Supports WLAN and Bluetooth®
Wireless communication is a highly attractive option within industrial environments for quickly accessing machines or systems without installing a cable. To easily establish such a connection, WAGO now offers the new Wireless Access Point, which is installed directly on the outer surface of a control cabinet. It allows wireless transmission via WLAN (IEEE802.11a/b/g/d/n/r), Bluetooth® or Bluetooth® Low Energy. For example, this integration allows access to the machine controller with a tablet or smartphone via the PROFINET®, Modbus/TCP or EtherNet/IPTM ETHERNET protocols.
Installing the compact Wireless Access Point is incredibly easy. A 50 mm diameter hole must be punched in the housing. The device is inserted through the hole and then secured from the inside with a suitable M50 nut. After that, all that needs to be connected is the data line through the RJ45 connector and, if necessary, the power supply. Alternatively, power supply via PoE is possible. The housing achieves the high IP67 protection rating, enabling use in harsh industrial environments.
The Benefits for You:
- Wireless machine communication
- Access to the controller with a tablet or smartphone
- Complete package – simply install and start immediately
