Gestandaardiseerde en veilige communicatie voor de industriële automatisering

Flexibel, toekomstbestendig en uitbreidbaar – OPC UA wint snel aan belang als communicatiestandaard voor toepassingen in de automatiseringstechniek.

OPC UA zorgt er in steeds meer industriële netwerken voor dat gegevens veilig en zonder problemen worden uitgewisseld. De technologie is producentonafhankelijk, is voorzien van talrijke veiligheidsmechanismen en omvat behalve de pure gegevensoverdracht ook een semantische annotatie die absoluut noodzakelijk is voor het modelleren van informatie. De apparaten beschrijven zelf hun opbouw en werking. Bij de communicatie worden daarom niet alleen gegevens overgedragen, maar ook de betekenis ervan meegeleverd – dit garandeert een hoge mate aan interoperabiliteit tussen de toepassingen.

OPC UA Mapping Editor

WAGO maakt andere voordelen van de OPC-UA-communicatie bruikbaar. Op dit moment is het informatiemodel conform de PLCopen-Companion-specificatie vast geïmplementeerd in de WAGO-server. Met de OPC UA Mapping Editor hebt u nu de mogelijkheid om bijvoorbeeld machinebesturingen flexibel aan te passen aan de verschillende informatiemodellen voor diverse specificaties. De OPC UA Mapping Editor is een onafhankelijke software voor Windows en biedt de mogelijkheid om het informatiemodel te wijzigen volgens dewelke WAGO OPC UA-server de gegevens levert en om de gegevens aan een model naar keuze toe te wijzen. Dit maakt het eenvoudig om OPC UA-communicatie voor verschillende toepassingen en prestatievereisten te implementeren. Eventueel kunnen ook klantenspecifieke aanpassingen worden doorgevoerd, die niet aan bijzondere specificaties beantwoorden. De klant kan daarom flexibel reageren op zijn vereisten.

Om de functie te kunnen benutten, is één e!Runtime-licentie per controller nodig. De Mapping Editor zelf is gratis.
