Intralogistics

Today’s industries are studies of technology in motion. WAGO has long been at the forefront of helping optimize, integrate and enhance the many moving parts of Intralogistics in action. Our solutions are scalable, reliable, safe and energy-efficient regardless of whether materiel is stored, retrieved or moved on rapidly down the line.

Solutions

Conveyor Systems

Moving products and packages through space at a high rate of speed requires well-designed systems of components all working in concert at that same break-neck pace. What was once simply referred to as ‘material handling’ has in recent times evolved into a highly technical, often cloud-based, collection of wired or remote devices working at a high degree of synchronized sophistication.

Why use WAGO?

  • WAGO PFCs can be used as central PLCs for the control of intelligent, distributed subsystem devices throughout the intralogistics network.

  • Communication to the SCADA system can be realized from the central PLC via protocols such as Modbus TCP, EtherNet/IP or PROFINET.

  • Help keep plant networks secure with WAGO's cost effective Lean Managed Switches.

Storage Systems

Equally as important as moving material through physical space is the storage and retrieval of those same discrete SKUs. Warehouses have evolved in the last few decades from simple mazes of shelving and floor-stacked, shrink-wrapped pallets of bulk to more analog offerings featuring high-tech Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS) that communicate every dispersal with precision and speed.

Why use WAGO?

  • Easily connect plant floor WAGO IIoT ready Controllers to cloud based servers via the MQTT protocol.

  • Our IP67 on-machine I/O is ideal for intralogistics applications and with Bluetooth capabilites, setup and maintenance is streamlined.

  • Enable your connected workers with information using WAGO's powerful Touch Panel 600 HMIs.
