Perfectly Plugged Electrical Installations – with WINSTA®

The WINSTA® Pluggable Connection System easily meets the strict requirements of building installations. The system provides simple pluggable electrical connections, making electrical installations fast, safe and error-free. This also applies to other applications, such as marine and railway systems, as well as industrial applications.

All Benefits at a Glance:

  • Protected against mismating and maintenance-free
  • Push-in CAGE CLAMP® spring pressure connection technology allows solid conductors to be simply pushed into a unit
  • A wide product range readily meets all electrical installation requirements: plugs, sockets, snap-in device connectors, PCB connectors, as well as distribution connectors, cable assemblies and distribution boxes
  • Compact design
  • Components can be clearly printed on and color-coded to meet custom requirements

Why WINSTA®?

WAGO’s WINSTA® Pluggable Connection System allows structured planning and faster completion of projects

WINSTA® allows electrical installations in the areas of energy management, lighting control, and HVAC to be optimized despite increasing complexity.

Conventional Installation vs. Pluggable Installation

The WINSTA® Pluggable Connection System is based on cable assemblies and standard components, which are combined in accordance with the construction project. WINSTA® is the ideal solution anywhere installation requirements repeat or are planned on a grid, e.g., installing grid lighting or flush-mount lighting. By using this pre-assembled connection system, assembly times and installation errors on the construction site can be reduced. And since the individual WINSTA® components are both mechanically coded and color-coded, incorrect connection is impossible.

WINSTA® in Building Installations

Click and Done!

WAGO WINSTA® can optimize all your installation processes. The modular, pluggable installation system consists of cable assemblies and standard components. The installation is planned in advance, and the required components and cables are specified and ordered. The electrical components of a project – lights, sockets or climate control systems – can be obtained from WINSTA® system partners with connectors already integrated, or equipped with the appropriate WINSTA® Plugs independent of the construction site. At the construction site, everything can then be plugged in quickly and reliably.

Straightforward Building Installation

Whether an administrative building, school or hospital – many such functional buildings follow a standardized pattern with repeating tasks. That’s exactly what the WINSTA® system is designed for. Furthermore, the modular structure of WINSTA® allows tasks to be processed in stages, optimizing personnel deployment at construction sites.

In the first stage, WINSTA® Distribution Boxes are installed. This can already be done in an early construction phase. In the second step, the electrical components are connected to the distribution boxes with the cable assemblies. This can be done at a later point, for example in order to protect lights from contamination during the construction phase. Furthermore, pluggable installation allows flexible coordination when their are scheduling overlaps with work on other building systems.

WINSTA® also has advantages for sustainable electrical installation, since what has been installed with the modular system can be easily modified or expanded at any time. In summary: Using WINSTA® allows you to make the best arguments in your bids, since you can provide sustainable quality in an economical way.
