After a schematic diagram is created, data must be transferred from the planning software to the printer. Thanks to the CAE interfaces in EPLAN, WSCAD and ZUKEN, this is performed completely automatically. Alternatively, the data can also be transferred, and this independently in the CAE system , in Smart Script via data import using an Excel file.

Customized formatting with a variety of different functions enables name plates with a table structure, including barcodes, or multi-line terminal blocks to be labeled:

• Elements: Barcodes, text boxes, images, icons

• Formatting: Font size, alignment

• Project properties: Work orientation, crop marks, material information

Smart Script can be used to optimally manage marking projects. The following factors ensure this:

• Mirroring the project structure from the Explorer
