1. Unorganized Cabling
Confusing and disorganized cable routing can take up a lot of space and complicate maintenance. If cables are not routed properly, this can lead to a clutter that makes it difficult to identify individual connections and increases the risk of errors.
Our Solution:
With the new TOPJOB® S Distribution Terminal Block from WAGO, potential distributions in the control cabinet can be organized, implemented neatly and efficiently with just one terminal block. The distribution terminal block allows power supply up to a nominal cross-section of 6 mm² or 16 mm² and has a total of 6 outputs of 1.5 mm² or 6 outputs of 4 mm². Its compact design saves a lot of space in the control cabinet.
2. Bulky Components
In control cabinet design, bulky components are notorious for taking up valuable space and making the integration of other important components more difficult. Large-scale products and a large number of individual components lead to inefficient use of available space. This can impair the overall structure of the control cabinet, make maintenance more difficult, and limit flexibility for expansions and adjustments.
Our Solution:
Compact components, such as our space-saving rail-mount terminal blocks, WAGO I/O System 750, and interface products – like the multi-channel ECB or the intelligent WAGO Pro 2 Power Supply, which combine multiple functions into a compact footprint – maximize control cabinet space. Our solutions not only maximize space but also offer a variety of flexible connection options. This is how we support you in designing your control cabinets optimally!
3. No Modularity and Flexibility
Rigid and inflexible systems make adaptations and expansions more difficult, increasing the footprint. Systems that are not modular require more space for expansion because additional cables and components must be added.
Our Solution:
The WAGO I/O System 750/753 allows easy and flexible expansion of systems. The modular components can be easily adapted to different requirements, reducing the space required for additional wiring options and ensuring easy implementation.
4. Inadequate Heat Dissipation
Excessively high temperatures due to heat-radiating devices lead to additional cooling measures, which are expensive and take up valuable space. In addition, overheating and damage to the components can occur if the temperature in the control cabinet is not effectively controlled.
Our Solution:
WAGO’s power supplies are highly efficient, meaning they not only benefit from low energy consumption but also from low heat losses and reduced CO2 emissions. The compact and space-saving design facilitates additional heat dissipation.
