When installing ceiling spotlights in confined and difficult-to-access spaces, every step counts. The WAGO Junction Box, size 1, 207 Series, was developed for this purpose. In combination with WAGO's 274 Series Through Connectors and 221 Series Inline Splicing Connectors, it enables fast and organized wiring, even in confined spaces.

1. Open the box with a tool (width approx. 5.5 mm), e.g., with a screwdriver (Item No. 206-2115).

2. Optional: For surface mounting, secure the box with screws.

3. Break the cable entry cutout openings out of the housing. For cable diameters ≥ 8 mm, the knockout in the cover must also be removed. 

Note: To ensure IP30 protection, unused cable entries must not be broken out.

4. Snap the connector into the holder until it clicks into place. Ensure that the connector is securely seated. (audible click).(Click-Here icon). To remove the connector, release the locking mechanism.

5. Connect the conductors.

6a. Insert the cable into the strain relief and push down the strain relief clip until the cable is securely held.

Wire Ceiling Spotlights Quickly and Efficiently

Thanks to its compact design, the junction box is specially designed for installation of ceiling spotlights and other confined installation spaces. It fits through cutouts with a diameter of 50 mm. The permanently attached cover and integrated strain reliefs prevent loose parts and simplify installation.

The solution with the 274 Series unleashes its full potential: The 4-conductor through connectors of the 274 Series enable easy through-wiring of ceiling spotlights. This makes through-wiring of ceiling spotlights simple and efficient, reducing installation time.
