Description

A DALI Master Module connects up to 64 electronic control gears and 16 multi-sensors. When setting up a new system, it is recommended to assign a maximum of 66% of the available subscriber slots.

Using the DALI Configurator, DALI lights can be grouped in any combination in up to 16 groups and scenes. The DALI Multi-Master Module also offers 16 additional virtual groups on the DALI bus. DALI ECGs possess one single address, which is conveniently assigned via the DALI Configurator (free WAGO plug-in). The configurator is available as a stand-alone Windows application or for use with WAGO-I/O-CHECK software.

Fieldbus nodes are programmed via WAGO-I/O-PRO software. WAGO provides a comprehensive IEC-61131-3 library of function blocks, simplifying the creation of complex lighting applications. Alternatively, an “Easy Mode” allows lighting functions to be readily controlled without any complicated PLC programming.

Two options are available to supply the DALI Multi-Master Module:

  • In the example shown here, the 753-620 Supply Module is used to convert 24 VDC into 18 VDC.
  • With two or more Multi-Master Modules, the 787-1007 Power Supply converts 230 VAC into 18 VDC.
