WAGO's new high-current, rail-mount terminal blocks are secured using two M6 or M8 cylinder-head screws for each terminal block, along with the appropriate washers. Block-to-block connectors for the specific cross sections provide additional stability and make installation quicker and easier.
The terminal blocks with mounting flanges are now available as 50 and 95 mm² (2/0 and 4/0 AWG) versions in the colors gray (285-141 for 50 mm² and 285-181 for 95 mm²), blue (285-144 for 50 mm² and 285-184 for 95 mm²) and gray-yellow for functional ground (285-147 for 50mm² and 285-187 for 95 mm²). The gray-yellow version has no electrical contact to the mounting frame. Accessories, such as jumpers, warning covers or test adapters, can be used both for DIN-rail and for flange-mounted versions.
These specifications make them ideal for energy-intensive industries, including machinery and equipment manufacturing, as well as energy production. Furthermore, high-current terminal blocks are currently pending approval for use in hazardous areas, making them ideal for “Ex e” increased safety applications.
