The trend toward miniaturizing electrical components continues to grow. As devices become increasingly compact, they require equally compact PCB connection technology. Specifically designed for such applications, the MCS MICRO with levers offers a space-saving, tool-free solution for device connection at a 2.54  mm (0.100 inch) pin spacing. This connector accommodates conductor cross-sections from 0.08 to 0.5 mm² (28 … 20 AWG). Thanks to Push-in CAGE CLAMP^® technology, both solid and fine-stranded conductors with ferrules can be inserted directly. Additionally, the MCS MICRO with levers can be flexibly mounted either horizontally or vertically to the PCB.

In the Netherlands, WAGO, in collaboration with its partner CIRCOLEKTRA, is launching a sustainable product take-back initiative in the spirit of the circular economy. The initiative aims to extend the service life of products, conserve resources and contribute to a sustainable construction industry.

In 2017, WAGO introduced the tool-free PCB connector with lever technology for conductor cross-sections up to 25 mm², using the Push-in CAGE CLAMP^®. This made intuitive connections in factories and field applications possible for the first time. Since then, the range of available conductor cross-sections with Push-in CAGE CLAMP^® and levers has been significantly expanded – WAGO now offers connectors for cross-sections ranging from 0.2 to 25 mm².
