Telecontrol Protocols

Be perfectly prepared for future energy market requirements. Select WAGO telecontrollers support the IEC 60870-5-101, -103 and -104, as well as 61850-7, 61400-25 and DNP3 protocols for wireless (GPRS) or wired (via ETHERNET) connection to the control system.

Cloud

Record, digitize, and link data profitably – this is the core concept behind Industry 4.0. A simple software upgrade transforms the WAGO PFC100 and PFC200 Controllers into IoT controllers that transmit data from the field level to the cloud.

Embedded Linux

Embedded Linux is available for users who are ready to take complete control and prefer directly using a lean and secure operating system. This real-time Linux® software provides a wide range of advantages, including the flexibility of using open-source code that adapts the source code to a user's specific needs at any time. In addition to being highly stable, this robust operating system also offers ongoing optimization through the active open-source community, keeping you both current and ready to adapt to what’s next – especially when it comes to security.

Cybersecurity

Increased networking and nearly universal connection to the Internet fuel the trend to secure data storage and data transmission. In order to ensure information security and integrity during Web access and data transfers, the encryption methods SSH and SSL/TLS are integrated into the PFC100 and PFC200 Controllers for establishing secure HTTPS and FTPS connections. A firewall provides additional protection against unwanted access.

CODESYS

All WAGO Controllers are equipped with the high-performing CODESYS industry standard. This enables software development in the IEC 61131-3 PLC programming languages (ST, FBD, LD, IL, SFC and CFC). As a trusted programming environment, CODESYS guides developers, enabling them to reuse and further develop existing programs without relearning software. This means that modern paradigms, such as Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), or modern visualization technologies are available.
